How the team works

• Research. Every guide starts from manufacturers’ published specifications, product documentation and recognised safety guidance (OSHA, ANSI/ALI, CPSC recall notices).
• Writing and editing. Guides are written to answer a specific buying or safety question, then checked for accuracy, clear safety wording and correct duty ratings before publishing.
• Updates. We revisit guides when products change, links break, or new recalls and safety guidance are published.

What we don’t claim

We don’t claim professional certifications, laboratory testing or hands-on testing that hasn’t happened. Our reviews are based on research and comparison of documented specifications and features — see the review methodology for exactly how.
